But the bag is just the first step. To make your laundry last longer and look as good as new, it’s important to follow these simple guidelines:

• Hand wash: use cold water (up to 30°C) and a mild detergent for delicate fabrics.
• No machine washing! The machine is the enemy of delicate fabrics and fittings.
• No wringing: forget wringing. Just lightly wring the fabric by pressing it against a towel.
• Drying: dry horizontally, out of the sun and away from the dryer.
• Ironing: if you iron, only iron from the wrong side, through the fabric and on a low temperature.
